- 1.5 lb pork shoulder blade steak
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Fresh herbs optional
Mix the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Rub the seasoning mixture generously on both sides of the pork shoulder blade steak.
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
