1 Thermometer
- 14.75 ounce Salmon canned or fresh
- Breadcrumbs or crushed saltine crackers
- 1 Large egg or flaxseed “eggs” for a vegan option
- ¼ cup Milk
- ¼ tbsp Old Bay seasoning
- ¼ tbsp Smoked paprika
- ¼ tbsp Garlic powder or minced scallions
- ¼ tbsp Salt
- ¼ tbsp Pepper
- ½ cup Chopped onions or bell peppers
- Dill or parsley optional
- Crushed potato chips or panko breadcrumbs optional
Drain canned salmon or flake fresh salmon into a bowl, removing any bones.
Add breadcrumbs, egg, milk, and seasonings (Old Bay, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper).
Mix gently with a fork to avoid making the mixture too dense.
Scoop 1/4-cup portions of the mixture and shape into 1-inch thick patties.
Press the edges gently to seal without squeezing too much.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Place patties on a parchment-lined tray in the air fryer.
Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Check if the patties reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Let the patties rest for 2 minutes before serving.
