  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper or chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce optional for marinade
  • 1 tbsp vinegar or citrus juice optional for marinade
  • 2 tbsp butter optional for Buffalo-style wings
  • ¼ cup hot sauce optional for Buffalo-style wings
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan optional for Garlic Parmesan variation
  • 3 cloves minced garlic optional for Garlic Parmesan variation
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano or thyme optional for Mediterranean variation
  • ½ tsp sesame oil optional for Asian-inspired variation
  • 1 tsp grated ginger optional for Asian-inspired variation

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • If using frozen turkey wings, thaw them in the fridge or in cold water.
  • Pat the turkey wings dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
  • Trim excess fat from the wings using kitchen shears.
  • In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the wings and rub the seasoning mixture evenly onto them.
  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack, ensuring they are not crowded.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through for even crispiness.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check doneness; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let the wings rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
  • Optionally, toss the wings in a sauce like buffalo, garlic Parmesan, or soy-ginger before serving.
